  • Jesus from the Bronx
  • One night in New York, in the middle of the street, over fifty people are fighting. A Franciscan friar crosses himself, gets out of his car and launches himself into the fray. He cries as loud as he can: “In the name of God, stop it!” And indeed, the fight soon ends, although the friar is afraid of being stabbed or punched.

  • “The little Arab girl” — St Mary of Christ Crucified
  • Blessed Mary Baouardy of Christ Crucified (the Little Arab Girl) had mystical experiences and bore stigmata on her body – wounds resembling those inflicted upon Christ. Miraculously, she survived martyrdom on account of her faith. As a young girl, she took vows of chastity and at twenty-one joined a Carmelite convent in Pau, France. All her life abounded with incredible gifts from God, but her sanctity was founded on humility.

  • Zero Tolerance for Pedophilia
  • We are facing a huge manipulation by the mass media, which is aimed at discrediting the Catholic Church.

  • In the service of the Queen of the Rosary
  • When on October 26th 1980 Pope John Paul II declared Italian lawyer Bartolo Longo to be Blessed, hardly anyone knew who the beatified was. Also, very few people had even heard what the sanctuary of the Holy Rosary in New Pompeii was.

  • „Faith comes by hearing”
  • St. Paul, a prominent Jewish theologian and expert in the law of Moses, was convinced that faith in Jesus is absolutely necessary for salvation. He wrote: “yet who know that a man is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus” (Gal 2:16). Where does such conviction come from that stimulates faith?

  • By the prophets announced...
  • Can you point to any known man who would fulfill at least a dozen Biblical prophecies describing the Messiah? Is it by chance that as many as 332 prophesies have been fulfilled in the person of Jesus?

  • The Truth of Christ’s Resurrection
  • Accounts of the Resurrection of Jesus that can be found in the Gospels and letters of St Paul mutually complement one another and are not contradictory. On the basis of these we have a credible relation of the truth of the Resurrection of Christ and His meetings with the apostles and disciples.

  • Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews
  • Unlike criminals, Jesus was convicted not of what He had done but of who He was. His guilt lay in the fact the He was the Messiah, king of the Jews and the Son of God.

  • Propaganda against the Church: The enlightenment
  • Anti-Catholic propaganda during the Enlightenment built its message on the heritage of the Reformation. In addition, in the so-called salons of the Enlightenment there was extensive reading of so-called revelations concerning millions of victims of Church inquisition, as well as information on the so-called crimes committed beyond the walls of monasteries.

  • Why A New Marian Dogma?
  • The popes of the Catholic Church, based on Scripture and Tradition, have officially taught over the course of centuries that the Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus, is also the Spiritual Mother of all peoples. Mary performs this role as spiritual mother to humanity in three basic ways.

  • An Ever-Enduring Miracle
  • Situated on three picturesque hills, the Tuscan city of Siena is famous throughout the world not only for her magnificent medieval architecture, her “piazza del Campo,” and her great saint, Catherine, but also for the Eucharistic miracle that has endured there since 1730.

  • How to Participate in the Eucharist?
  • “The Church received the Eucharist from Christ her Lord not as one gift—however precious—among so many others, but as the gift par excellence, for it is the gift of himself, of his person in his sacred humanity, as well as the gift of his saving work” (John Paul II, Ecclesia de Eucharistia, 11).
