The signs of God’s presence in the universe

Every man who sincerely seeks the truth sees clear signs of the Almighty God’s presence and activity in the universe around us.

Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1737), an English physicist, wrote: “This most beautiful system of the sun, planets, and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being.”

Albert Einstein (1879-1955) emphatically rejected, as false and restricting our cognitive powers, the conviction that only this which is cognizable to our senses exists. He wrote: “My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind. That deep emotional conviction of the presence of a superior reasoning power, which is revealed in the incomprehensible universe, forms my idea of God.” And the Nobel Prize laureate Belgian chemist Ilia Prigogine (1917-2003) said: “The statistical probability that organic structures and the most precisely harmonized reactions that typify living organisms would be generated by accident, is zero.
