When people abandon Christian values and the Ten Commandments, when they stop praying and going to confession and Holy Communion, they tend to believe ever more strongly in all kinds of superstitions, occult practices, divination, spiritism or magic.
The Holy Scriptures leave no doubt: “Everyone who commits sin is a child of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)
The Lethal Germ of Evil
The most tragic spiritual state man can find himself in is a refusal to reform, and persistence in deadly sin. Then, man voluntarily gives himself up to the power of demonic forces, which ultimately are the major cause of unimaginable human spiritual and physical suffering. Exorcist priests maintain that such suffering often goes unnoticed because those affected do not mention it for fear of being perceived as mentally ill.
Many are unaware that in persisting in deadly sins they willingly render themselves vulnerable to demonic forces. Especially noxious in this respect are the sins Jesus told the mystic Rozalia Celakówna: “Look, child, what a terrible offense and pain are inflicted on me by sins of impurity, murder (especially of unborn children), and intense hatred. I can no longer stand the offense and insults that sins of impurity inflict upon me. If Poland does not revive spiritually, does not abandon her sins, she will perish. Only a complete spiritual revival and surrender to the reign of my Heart may save, not only Poland, but also other nations.”
People are often unaware that they voluntarily succumb to the power of Satan when they plunge into sins of impurity (adultery, pornography, homosexual practices, and so on); when they commit sins related to occultism (availing of the services of magicians, soothsayers, healers); when they submit to addiction to alcohol and drugs and when they show hatred towards other people and the unwillingness to forgive.
This is how a great tragedy begins – when people set out on the road to hell. Such a life is marked by terrible enslavement and suffering brought about by demons. Jesus told Alicja Lenczewska that “Every man carries in his heart heaven or hell: heaven when his soul is submerged in me, hell when he abandons me and lives by the rules imposed by the world. I am heaven, while hell is everything beyond me.” (Word of instruction, 34)
Satanic evil is characterized by aversion and hatred of the truth and the good. It is for this reason that Satan stirs up grievances, grudges and defiance against God. The Evil One also sows aversion to prayer, confession, the Holy Communion, the Divine Commandments, the Gospel and the Church.
The incessant promotion of sexual lasciviousness, pornography, homosexuality, contraceptives, divorces, abortion and euthanasia in the leftist mass media has de-Christianized a significant percentage of Europeans and infected them with the Satanic germ of evil.
“You need not be afraid to call the preeminent evildoer by his name: the Evil One. The tactic he has used is not to reveal himself” (St. John Paul II)
In his ruthless fight against the Catholic Church, Satan uses the anti- Church tool that is Freemasonry. The Blessed Pope Pius IX had already exposed the Satanic strategy to destroy the Catholic Church through Freemasonry. He explained that it involved the promotion of moral corruption and dismantling the Christian concept of marriage and family. The blessed pope wrote: “Since among many a machination and way by which the enemies of Christianity dare to attack the Church of God and attempt to destroy it in vain, one no doubt should name this degenerate association of people known as ‘freemasonry’, that initially hid in darkness and which now comes to light in order to ruin religion and the human community.”
And so, for instance, French Freemasonry defined its major objectives in the following words in 1919: “Our ultimate objective is the same as that of Voltaire and the French Revolution: to destroy forever Catholicism or even any Christian idea.”
“The terrifying words of the Apostle John, The whole world lies under the power of the evil one, (John 5:19) allude to the presence of Satan in the history of humanity, a presence that becomes more acute as man and society drift away from God” (St. John Paul II)
The Freemason Humanist Manifesto of 1973 reads: “No deity will save us; we must save ourselves. In the best sense, religion may inspire dedication to the highest ethical ideals. Promises of immortal salvation or fear of eternal damnation are both illusory and harmful. […] In the area of sexuality, we believe that intolerant attitudes, often cultivated by orthodox religions and puritanical cultures, unduly repress sexual conduct. The right to birth control, abortion, and divorce should be recognized. […] Individuals should be permitted to express their sexual proclivities (inclinations) and pursue their life‐styles as they desire.”
